I met an 17 year old boy who had committed suicide. He attached himself to his boyfriend and was afraid of the other side - the light. As I spoke to the conscious host about the healing aspect of the light and the peace that was there the host felt him leave.
The host knew he was there and didn't want his boyfriend to go. And that attachment from both sides kept the boy earthbound.
He didn't think the light accepted those who committed suicide but after hearing the message of compassion and love along with peace on the other side he was able to leave.
He has appeared since many times and has helped the host in dangerous situations, except now he has a heavenly spiritual body and is close to God. God allows him to visit and help when needed.
His story is wonderful. As he was in his human body, so was he in his spirit body. He winked a lot when alive and still does today. He has appeared to his living boyfriend, brothers and sister and has been a constant companion, although he isn't attached.
We have become good friends and he has spoken to me through one of the host's brothers who is able to see and speak to departed spirits. He is always comforting and giving messages of hope from above.

Case Study Two
I met a 14 year old girl who had died from a drug overdose. She knew the host whom she was attached to. She had suffered abuse from her family and when she went to a rave one night a guy had given her Ecstasy. She collapsed and was taken to the hospital by ambulance. She died shortly after.
The host was there at the party and while everyone else ignored her, he called 911 and stayed with her till the ambulance came. He never saw her again.
Her impression of the host in her last moments was so profound and her death so sudden that she decided to stay with him. She didn't want to be dead and go into the light. She was so young.
She came through the host one night and had the same fears they always do. The light will not accept her. She's done too many things bad. After some conversation she went into the light and I've not heard from her since. As usual, the host was weak physically and mentally and was in a trance state.

I spoke to him gently, assuring him that the light he was so afraid of would welcome him. He was afraid of being burned. He was afraid of being punished. Therefore, all these years he remained in this fixed state of loneliness and confusion.
The boy spoke through the voice apparatus of his brother (the host) when he was strong and his host brother was weak. I only spoke to him the one time when he went into the light. After he was gone, the host woke up and didn't know what happened. He thought he was asleep the whole time. He remembered nothing.
Children are much easier to reach out to than adults. They are more accepting and have less baggage.
There are many details, but for the safety and confidentiality of the host I will refrain from giving those out. It's a lengthy story.

Reasons They Stay
I've touched on this briefly, but I wanted to go into a little more detail with this. Most people in the field of spirit release agree on the main reasons why departed human beings stay on the earth plane. Therefore, what I will share is really nothing new. I've not encountered enough different cases to verify them, but I'm sure of a few of these reasons.
Some departed ones were in accidents where they died so suddenly they don't realize they are dead. They can even see their dead body lying there, but still don't get it. They feel the same as they did before. To them there's not been any change and are confused by seeing their body double.
Some departed ones stay because they feel the need to watch over loved ones left behind. They feel an intense need to be there for their children or spouse and don't think their loved ones can live without them.
Some departed ones have committed suicide and are afraid that they won't be accepted by God or the light. They feel their deeds in life were too bad and are resigned to live this way forever. Many brought up in strict religious households are this way and they need to be reassured that all will be well.
Some departed ones left projects and careers unfinished and seek to finish it. They will find humans and attach to them in order to finish their projects.
Some departed ones were drug addicts or had some other addictions that they feel an intense desire to still do while in spirit. So they attach to living addicts in order to still get their high.
These are the most prevalent reasons why departed humans stay on the earth.

My goal, as well as Ms. Fiore's, is to view the spirit as the patient in need of more help than their host. If they are simply kicked out by performing an exorcism they will just go bother someone else and keep themselves in this never-ending cycle of dependency on humans to survive but never finding the peace that exists in the light.
I will begin to give case studies of those whom I have dealt with who were earthbound. I will change their names and locations because those things are confidential. The dialogue will be true.
My approach to them is much different than demonic spirits. I am very compassionate towards earthbounds because they need help to move on and being judgemental and overbearing often makes them run away. That's a far cry from exorcising demonic spirits out of someone. I do not tolerate them. They will not change their ways. They will never accept the light and are beyond help.

"noisy ghosts" that make things go bump in the night are often earthbound spirits. They could be spirits attached to the home or past loved ones who won't leave their families, etc. They are trying to get people's attention. These "ghosts" aren't always earthbounds. They could be demonic spirits. Only in trying to work with them will you find out which. And you will know.
I see many people going on ghost hunting tours and those who live in the homes where the ghost is want to keep them there for entertainment value. That's a terrible thing to do to these poor ghosts.
Not all "ghosts" are earthbound spirits, but many are. Therefore, they need to be rescued and led into the light, not kept here for amusement purposes. We only make their earthly stay worse by keeping them here. There is peace and rest on the other side and we should treat them like our loved ones.
