Many of you may wonder what I mean by "earthbound spirits". Trust me, I was not aware of what they were till about 6 months ago.

Regardless of popular beliefs in mainstream Christianity, when human beings die they don't go immediately to a heaven or hell. Initially you may disagree with me and that's okay. I was born and raised in a conservative Christian home with this belief. It wasn't till I experienced something different personally and started my search for others who had the same experience that I began to see things differently and had to evaluate my belief system compared to my experience.

Earthbound spirits are those departed human beings who stay on the earth in a spirit body without "crossing over into the light". They will stay because they have unfinished business or because they are trying to protect someone or simply because they can't accept the fact that they are dead.

When we die we have a choice of whether to move on to the light and progress on our journey or stay behind in a spirit body on the earth. Many choose to stay, stunting their spiritual progress and binding them here without anyone to help. Unless they find a person who can reach out to them, they remain fixed on earth in this intermediate state of being.

So, that's what earthbound spirits are generally and this gives you a very basic idea of what this blog is about.
